Good Bacteria

Some scientists are studying the effect of good bacteria on our skin. The theory is if you wash your face too much or with a cleanser that is too astringent, you’re getting rid of good bacteria. Um, yes. They live on our skin, too. No, I will not gross you out with pictures of the microscopic beasties.
To the point, be careful with your cleanser. Make sure it’s gentle and not stripping the good with the bad. I am breakout prone, but still a huge fan of oil based face and body washes. Oil attracts oil which is how it gets your skin clean, but not squeaky.
